During pregnancy there is a strain on the joints of your lower back and pelvis as the ligaments in your body naturally become softer and stretch to prepare you which can cause backache.

you have an extra weight in your uterus and an increasing size of the hollow in your lower back, these factors are also a problem.

But unfortunately, every mom must face that extra weight and joints strain.

There are several things you can do to prevent backache from happening, and to help you cope with an aching back if it does occur.

The tips listed here are going to help you to protect your back:

1_ avoid lifting heavy objects.

You don’t need more extra weight to be add to you, and guess what?! It can make a serious problem to your pregnancy and your baby. So please avoid that.

2_ bend your knees and keep your back straight.

when lifting or picking up something from the floor (and not a heavy object as we mentioned before) do it in a right way, just bend your knees and keep your back straight as you’re squatting or deadlifting 🏋️💪

3_move your feet when turning around.

unfortunately, many women suffer spine twisting as they move in a wrong way, please don't do ninja stuff in home.

always remember to move your feet when turning around to avoid twisting your spine.

4_wear flat shoes.

 it's a very important advise you must care for it as these allow your weight to be evenly distributed. of course when pregnancy relax shoes are mentioned we must mention skechers shoes, you can get it from Amazon here with your size and favorite color 

5_avoid stooping

work at a surface high enough to prevent you stooping.

6_be smart in shopping

try to balance the weight between two bags when carrying shopping, remember balance in the body is the foundation for balance in life. so do it smartly. 

7_sit with your back straight and well supported

you are not under fire just relax and sit in the way that help your spine and your breathing. 

8_avoid standing or sitting for long periods 

as we mentioned before - it's a balance 

9_use firm mattress.

make sure you get enough rest, particularly later in pregnancy, a firm mattress can also help to prevent and relieve backache. If your mattress is too soft, put a piece of hardboard under it to make it firmer, also you can check pillows that will give you the most rest you need. we mention one from Amazon here
